Fernfall Forest Is Waiting

Fernfall isn’t a box of toys. It’s a story your Explorer becomes part of.

Each month, a letter arrives from Elara, a young explorer investigating the strange happenings of Fernfall Forest. One month may bring a mysterious clue. The next may reveal something no explorer has ever documented before.

Clues connect. Questions linger. Discoveries build on one another throughout the year.

By the end of the adventure, your Explorer won’t have simply collected six handmade creatures—they’ll have spent a year helping uncover the mystery of Fernfall.

  • First, a Mystery Arrives…

    A Field Dispatch from Elara arrives with news from her latest expedition—and a physical clue for your Explorer to examine.

    What does it mean? What might be hiding nearby? And how does it connect to the larger mystery unfolding across Fernfall?

  • Then, Something Is Discovered

    The following month brings the answer to part of the mystery: a handmade Fernfall creature, its official Creature Card, map sticker, and another letter from Elara.

    But every discovery seems to raise a new question…

Over twelve months, your Explorer will receive:

  • 12 letters from Elara as the story unfolds
  • 6 physical mystery clues to examine and investigate
  • 6 handmade Fernfall creatures discovered throughout the adventure
  • 6 official Creature Cards documenting each new species
  • 6 map stickers to mark each discovery across Fernfall Forest
  • 1 illustrated map of Fernfall Forest to follow the expedition from the very beginning

Every piece is part of one continuous story. Clues from early expeditions may become important months later, and the mystery grows as your Explorer travels deeper into Fernfall.

Nothing arrives all at once. Fernfall is meant to be discovered slowly, one mysterious envelope and unexpected package at a time.

Gift purchasers receive a special Invitation to Explore Fernfall to present to their Explorer. Then, when the adventure begins, the first Field Dispatch arrives by mail—and the mystery is underway.

Grandparents, aunts, uncles, and family friends are welcome to purchase Fernfall. If you don’t know the Explorer’s current mailing address, that’s okay. We’ll contact their parent or guardian privately to confirm where their adventure should be delivered.

Every creature discovered in Fernfall is crocheted by hand in the PandaMae studio—not pulled from a warehouse or mass produced.

Each one is intentionally small, simple, and collectible, with its own personality and place in the story.

Your Explorer won’t know which creature is coming next. They’ll encounter the clues first, make their guesses, and wait for the discovery to arrive.

Only then will they meet the creature hiding behind the mystery.
